Bucket Drumming-is a beginners class where students learn the basics of how to play a drum. Each session will focus on proper technique and notation. In the class we will work on stick control, rhythm echo, call and response and performance pieces. (Minimum number of students 5, maximum 30) To run 6 weeks-once/week for one hour.
Ugh A Bug! Students will explore a wide range of materials including fur, fabric, metallic foils, et. to create flying, creepy and crawling bugs. Using recycled materials will be encouraged. Instructor: Pam Hovey
Using neon and patterned duct tape. Students will learn how to take turns and collaborate to create a finished work of art.Chairs will be used and displayed in Art Space Classrooms Chairs can also be displayed in local restaurants, retail stores, laundromats etc. promoting Art Space pava. After creating a collaborative Art Chair, students may take additional sessions to recreate a chair brought in from home which would be their own. Instructor: Pam Hovey
Play with shaving cream, finger paint and mystery goo to create your own masterpiece. Music and finger play will add to the fun with such songs as “Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” and “Open - Shut Them”. Instructor: Pam Hovey
Traditional ballet class with emphasis on flexibility, strength, high jumps and fast turns and footwork. Each class consists of barre and center work both allegro and adagio. (Minimum number of students: Adults 3, children 6) To run Full semester. Instructor: Dr. Patricia Jubinska
Exploring fundamentals of writing, fiction and non-fiction. Course will consist of writing assignments, detailed critiques and guidance, as well as what makes effective writing. (Minimum number of students 5, maximum 20) To run 8 weeks- once/week for two hours.
Studio Classes for basic stained Glass techniques using copper foil or lead channel. Create your own original design and build your own work of art. Glass, solder,cutters and channel will be available for free. Three 90 minutes classes.) Instructor: Lucille Mota Costa
Beginner chainmail jewelry-Learn to use metal rings to make bracelets, earrings, necklaces, as well as combining precious stones into the jewelry. To run 4 weeks-twice a week for two hours.

Learn how to plant and grow a beautiful garden
Children will love walking barefoot through paint and making rainbow footprints. One of the projects will be to make a lobster footprint! We will read the “The Foot Book” by Dr. Seuss and march and dance using our right foot and left foot. Instructor: Pam Hovey
